Homeopathy in Hove
My name is Liz Brynin and I have been working as a homeopath in Brighton and Hove since I qualified.
Originally, I come from a background in education, having trained as a teacher. When we moved to Brighton, I started work at a local language school in Hove, first as a teacher and then as Director of Studies.
How did I get interested in homeopathy?
My children led me to the study of homeopathy when I saw how well it dealt with their illnesses. When we first moved to Brighton and Hove, both my children had health problems. My first son had severe tonsillitis which kept recurring in spite of frequent antibiotic treatment and my younger son suffered for 6 months with ongoing diarrhoea. The GP in Brighton tried various medicines and tests, but nothing really helped. At that point I started to look for a comlementary therapist, and a friend recommended I visit her homeopath in Lewes. Eventually I found a complementary therapy clinic for children in Brighton and made an appointment with a homeopath. To my amazement, homeopathy healed both my sons, gently and swiftly. When I saw how well they responded, I started to see a homeopath in Brighton myself, and began to use homeopathy on myself, my family and my animals, with amazing results. I began to look deeper into the homeopathic approach to healing, and eventually decided to study homeopathy myself.
My homeopathic studies:
When I started my homeopathic studies, I enrolled at the School of Homeopathy in Devon. I started on a distance-learning course, and I also attended a lot of study days in London but found the travelling from Hove too tiring. I wanted a school that was closer to home, preferably in East or West Sussex. Luckily, I found the South East College of Homeopathy in Eastbourne, and switched colleges in 2002.
After graduating from the the South East College of Homeopathy, I decided to start my own practice in Brighton, and I joined my professional organisation, the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths. I am a fully qualified, registered member of ARH and I am also fully insured. As a member of ARH, I follow a strict code of ethics and professional conduct and I also take part in regular CPD training events to remain up-to-date with developments in homeopathy.
Why use homeopathy?
If you are looking for a more natural way to better health and wellbeing, more energy and enjoyment of life, for yourself or your family, homeopathy can help you. I see a range of patients with problems ranging from eczema, hayfever, ear, nose and throat problems, bronchitis, arthritis, high blood pressure, menopausal complaints, depression or anxiety and much more....
My patients mostly come from the Brighton, Hove, Lewes or Shoreham areas. I work from home in Hove, but I can also do home visits when necessary in Brighton and Hove and surrounding areas such as Lewes, Shoreham or Worthing.
I look forward to working with you.
